For the Peach Cobbler:

  • ½ cup melted butter 🧈
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 1 cup sugar 🍬
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 🍞
  • 1 cup milk 🥛
  • One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches, drained 🍑

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Melt the butter and pour it into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Slowly add milk and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
  • Evenly arrange the drained peaches on top of the batter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and set.
  • Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream

Notes

  • If using fresh peaches, peel and slice 3-4 medium peaches and sprinkle them with 1 tablespoon of sugar before adding them to the batter.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat, bake at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes or microwave individual portions for 30 seconds
