For the Peach Cobbler:
- ½ cup melted butter 🧈
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1 cup sugar 🍬
- 1 teaspoon baking powder 🍞
- 1 cup milk 🥛
- One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches, drained 🍑
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Melt the butter and pour it into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Slowly add milk and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
- Evenly arrange the drained peaches on top of the batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
Notes
- If using fresh peaches, peel and slice 3-4 medium peaches and sprinkle them with 1 tablespoon of sugar before adding them to the batter.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To reheat, bake at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes or microwave individual portions for 30 seconds
