Ingredients
-
1 loaf of bread dough (store-bought or homemade)
-
4–5 cloves of garlic, minced
-
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
-
1/4 cup melted butter
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan or round cake pan with butter or oil.
-
If using store-bought dough, let it thaw according to the package instructions. If making homemade dough, prepare it and let it rise until doubled in size.
-
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
-
Cut the dough into small, bite-sized pieces (1 to 1.5 inches). Dip each piece into the garlic butter mixture, coating it well.
-
Layer the coated dough pieces in the prepared pan, adding some grated Parmesan cheese between the layers if desired.
-
Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
-
Let the bread cool slightly, then remove from the pan. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
-
For added crunch, sprinkle chopped walnuts or almonds over the bread before baking.
-
Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month.
-
You can substitute the rosemary with other herbs like thyme or oregano for a different flavor profile.
