Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping

  • Extra pecans for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.

  • Cream Cheese Layer: Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.

  • Pudding Layer: Whisk the vanilla pudding mix with the milk for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.

  • Add Pecans: Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the pudding layer. Press them gently into the pudding for better adherence.

  • Top with Whipped Topping: Spread the whipped topping over the pecans, covering the entire surface.

  • Finish with Caramel Sauce: Drizzle caramel sauce over the whipped topping and sprinkle with additional pecans if desired.

  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight for best results. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can add chopped walnuts or almonds for a different nutty flavor.

  • The lasagna will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Store in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap.

  • For a richer taste, substitute the whipped topping with mascarpone cheese.
