Instructions

  • Melt the Gum Base: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the gum base and corn syrup. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. (Or use a double boiler if preferred.)
  • Add Sugar: Gradually mix in powdered sugar, stirring well after each addition, until a dough forms.
  • Knead the Dough: Transfer the mixture to a powdered sugar-dusted surface and knead until smooth and pliable.
  • Shape the Gum: Roll out the gum and cut it into small pieces or fun shapes.
  • Wrap and Store: Wrap each piece in wax paper and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
