Description

These Grilled Chicken Bites with Creamy Garlic Sauce are a flavorful and satisfying dish perfect for quick dinners or casual get-togethers. Juicy chicken pieces are seasoned and grilled to perfection, then tossed in a smooth, garlicky cream sauce that’s rich without being heavy. Whether served with rice, flatbread, or your favorite side, this recipe promises bold taste and comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:
– 500g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon ground paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
– Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
– 1 tablespoon olive oil (or butter)
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– Juice of half a lemon
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional Add-ins:
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Red chili flakes for heat
– Sautéed spinach or grilled vegetables

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little oil and cook the chicken pieces in a single layer for about 4–5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Set aside.

  • In the same pan, lower the heat and add more oil if needed. Sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Add lemon juice and, if using, stir in Parmesan cheese or chili flakes.

  • Return the grilled chicken to the pan and coat with the garlic sauce. Simmer for another minute.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

– For extra richness, add a knob of butter to the sauce before serving.
– You can substitute heavy cream with a plant-based alternative for a dairy-free version.
– This dish pairs well with basmati rice, flatbread, or steamed vegetables.
– Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated with a splash of milk or cream.
