Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

For the Eggs:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For Serving (Optional):

  • Toasted bread
  • Hash browns

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak Bites

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 2: Cook the Steak Bites

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and toss the steak in the garlic butter for 1 minute.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Eggs

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Crack the eggs directly into the skillet and cook sunny-side up or to your desired doneness.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy

  1. Plate the garlic steak bites alongside the eggs.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with toasted bread or hash browns

Notes

  • For a medium-rare steak, cook 2 minutes per side; for medium, cook 3 minutes per side.
  • Substitute ribeye or New York strip for an even more tender result.
  • If you prefer scrambled eggs, whisk the eggs before adding them to the pan and cook over low heat for a creamy texture.
  • Store leftover steak in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for the best flavor
