Ingredients
-
3–4 fresh chili peppers (adjust to your desired heat level)
 -
4 cloves garlic, minced
 -
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, minced
 -
1/4 cup soy sauce
 -
2 tbsp rice vinegar
 -
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
 -
1 tbsp sesame oil
 -
1/4 cup water (adjust for consistency)

Instructions
-
In a small saucepan, combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
 -
Simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 -
Add the fresh chili peppers and continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
 -
Stir in the honey (or brown sugar) and sesame oil, letting it dissolve into the sauce.
 -
If the sauce is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time to reach your desired consistency.
 -
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, then taste and adjust the heat or sweetness as necessary.
 -
Once satisfied with the flavor, remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool slightly before using.

Notes
-
For a milder version, reduce the amount of chili peppers or opt for a less spicy variety.
 -
Dragon Sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
 -
This sauce is perfect as a marinade, dipping sauce, or topping for stir-fries and grilled meats.
 -
For extra depth, add a splash of lime juice or a few drops of fish sauce to enhance the umami flavor.
