Crockpot Angel Chicken is a simple, creamy, and delicious dish that takes little effort and delivers big flavor. With tender chicken, a rich and creamy sauce, and angel hair pasta, this recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or when you want to impress guests with a comforting meal. The slow-cooked chicken paired with a smooth, flavorful sauce makes for an irresistible combination!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  • Spray your crockpot with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts in the bottom.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, chicken broth, and butter. Stir until smooth and creamy.

  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.

  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

  • Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions and drain.

  • Shred the chicken or leave it whole, and then serve it over the cooked pasta with plenty of sauce.

  • Garnish with additional herbs or toppings, if desired, and serve hot!

Notes

  • For added flavor, stir in spinach, mushrooms, or other veggies during the last hour of cooking.

  • If you prefer a different pasta, feel free to use spaghetti or penne. Just adjust the sauce as needed.

  • This dish can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently for the best flavor.
