- 1 large cabbage 🥬 (chopped)
- 2 small onions 🧅 (diced)
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes 🍅
- 1 pouch Lipton Onion Soup Mix 🍲
- 1 large celery stalk (chopped very small)
- 1–2 lbs ground beef 🥩
- Water (as needed)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Optional spices (garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes)
Instructions
- Prepare the broth – Fill a large saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil.
- Add the vegetables – Toss in the chopped cabbage, diced onions, and celery. Reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cook the ground beef – In a separate pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Season the soup – Stir in the Lipton Onion Soup Mix and any additional spices.
- Combine everything – Add the stewed tomatoes and the cooked ground beef to the soup pot. Stir well.
- Simmer & taste – Let the soup simmer for 30-40 minutes until the cabbage is tender. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve & enjoy – Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy warm!

- For a vegetarian version, omit the ground beef and add beans or lentils.
