  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk (or your preferred milk)

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or blend of mozzarella & cheddar)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) to get it nice and hot for the pizza.
  • Cook the Sausage:

    • In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir occasionally until it’s browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
    • Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stirring until the sausage absorbs the flour and forms a thick base.
    • Gradually add the milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens into a smooth gravy, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat once the gravy is thick and creamy.
  • Assemble the Pizza:

    • Roll out your pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone, shaping it into a round or rectangular pizza base.
    • Spread a generous layer of the sausage gravy over the dough, leaving a little border around the edges for the crust.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the gravy layer.
  • Bake the Pizza:
